new passion quilting and various WIPs
so two years ago my hubby encouraged me to seek out a new sewing machine. the first two i had were basically 100 dollar specials from walmart and every time i tried to do any sewing beyond making a pillow case i would break it. so I splurged and bought a bernina 330 and have been in love and fully distracted with learning how to quilt.1. first quilt was made with the guidance of the wonderful teaching team at the Quilt Patch in Fairfax VA which have since closed about a year ago. each week we were assigned a pattern set and taught the assemble techniques. The top is finished, sandwiched and i attempted to begin quilting it on my domestic machine. it is not finished and I hope to be able to work on it in July this summer.
2. there are a few of the blocks i did with a block a month (BOM) i did the spring after my first quilt top. they have been pieced together into a nice top will post pictures when i can access craft room a bit easier.

3. way behind on the Moda Block heads 2 BOM and behind on the candian BOM when I found out you did not need to be canadian nor in a quild https://canadianquilter.com/52-blocks-in-52-weeks/. although it might be time to join one... will think it over this summer
4. Love me some Angela Walters Quilting is my Therapy and am participating in her Build a Quilt https://quilting-is-my-therapy.myshopify.com/collections/build-a-quilt-2018-2019
