Design Pattern
So using WinStitch to create my first cross stitch pattern was a year exploration with small successes and frustrations during down times between creating and implementing lesson plans. I made the designand stitched the model (final version is not posted yet). I have learned that even with multiple edits and reviewing the draft there were still errors in the design. I am really glad I took the time to stitch the model because I was able to fix the design errors so that when I do release the pattern it will be easier to follow.
I have definitely gained an appreciation to the amount of work goes into the design process as it was a small project (76 stitches by 76 stitches) and I can image the level of commitment for larger pieces.
More details will come in late March or early April as it is intended for an up coming fundraising event.
I did finish the project and so here it is.
It is important to note the pattern can not be purchased as is due to a branding change which requires a redesign (expect this to be completed by August 10, 2022)
