Quilting WIPS 2022

 I have quite a few quilts to be working on. some that were not finished in 2021 either due to no time available or shipping issues impacting monthly clubs. However with almost all the cloth finally in (only three more shipments and I should have all items) and so now is the time to focus.                             

1. FQS freebie QAL

 a. Bats & Boos QAL and SAL

timing was on my side with this QAL. I was able to complete the quilt top and the cross stitch pattern. I have found cloth for the binding and a backing, so all that remains is to quilt the actual top. 

b. all the trimming QAL

this quilt I actually finished three weeks ago before the grand old power outage of Virginia. I have not found the cloth I want to use for the binding nor for the backing . Once these items are decided upon and obtained it will be quilted. 

2. FQS QAL

a. Sewcialites 2021 QAL

I have completed blocks 1 - 28 and plan on finishing the last 8 blocks this weekend. then I will try to decide on the final layout. images to come on a later post.

b. Serendipity 2021 

I have the first two rows completed and the back pieced. the rest of the QAL has not been worked on for some time. I am planning on tackling this during the month of February

c. Heart Felt 2022

material has not arrived and I am hoping to be able to keep up with the QAL pacing this year.

d. Lori Holts Sew By Row

although the material is still being shipped for the last two months I have still only completed one scissor block. It is my hope that I can work on this in March or sooner.
